“Now Sissy That Walk!”

^please play and enjoy!
Here we go again. I tend to mentally play a RuPaul song on my mind whenever I pass through a street full of fashion boutiques. I’m like a drag queen stuck in a real woman’s body with no fashion sense at all.

Enough with the self-pity! I don’t really have any intentions of buying clothes or to even dine in one of the vibrant restaurants of Takeshita-Dori or Takeshita Street in Harajuku, but I have to admit that I am mesmerized as I take snaps of the colorful shops. Why so cute?

For some reason, a stall featuring photos of Asian pop stars and One Direction caught my attention. The curious me went inside.

When I was in elementary, the wall of my room was covered with Spice Girls posters and photos. In high school, I had a big crush on one Pinoy teen actor that’s why I know the feeling of being a ‘fangirl’. This place known as Nama Sashin sells paparazzi photos of Asian superstars and even other international acts (hello, One Direction!).

Here are some snapshots of fashion boutiques that caught my attention:

This lady is truly taking her shopping trip seriously

Though I’m not really a shopaholic, gazing at these stores makes me want to spend some cash and just pick the dresses I fancy. Maybe I’ll do that next time.

We weren’t able to see the creative and fashionable Harajuku Teens. I think we were late or we passed by at the wrong time.

If you love fashion or daydreaming, strolling in this part of Tokyo will make you feel young and alive!
