The Bangus Festival 2012 celebration starts this week! My beloved hometown is currently expecting more travelers and balikbayans to visit and celebrate this special occasion with us.
Dagupan City is the Bangus or Milkfish Capital of the World. I am a proud Dagupena, but I am a bit shy to admit that I last joined the celebration way back in 2006. The highlight week usually falls on the 4th week of April.
Anyway, Dagupan City is currently active in promoting the Dawel River Cruise. I wrote several entries about it in this blog and I am glad to say that as of writing, the Dawel River Cruise is Free of Charge. You only need to inquire through the Dagupan Tourism Office.
