Fire Dancers of Sandbar Boracay

Boracay Island is not only popular because of its enchanting beach. It is very much popular worldwide for its active nightlife. It is also the hub of fire dance performers in the Philippines.

On my third trip to Boracay with the rest of the winners of the SEAIR – Microtel Bloggers’ Tour, some of us decided to watch some fire dancers perform live in an outdoor bar called ‘Sandbar’.

Edcel, Gael, Darwin and I finally went inside Sandbar’s closed outdoor area (does that make sense?) because we were intrigued and we want to take a closer look to the performers, which is overpowered by talented gays and sexy hunks.

We stayed there to enjoy the fire dance performance of the group. We didn’t expect that by the end of the night, we’d be partying with them 😛 Here are some photos that i would like to share:

Here’s a video performance of Carla Mendoza’s fire dance rendition of Whitney Houston’s ‘If I Don’t Have You’:

You can catch the group performing regularly at night at Sandbar By Bamboo Lounge in Station 1.
