Saying Hello to Kuala Lumpur!

I’m flying again tonight! I am quite excited because I am going back to Malaysia. On the same month last year, I went to Kota Kinabalu with Winston and Erik. This time, I’ll be spending the weekend in Kuala Lumpur – the capital city!

Petronas Twin Towers and some cheesy lines from 'Miss You Like Crazy'

Tower 1: I am happy when I’m with you

Tower 2: Me too..

‘Malaysia – Truly Asia’. Who wouldn’t love that inviting tagline? My first became interested in visiting Kuala Lumpur after watching the Filipino romantic film ‘Miss You Like Crazy’, where some scenes were shot there. I think the movie is the main reason why some lovers would love to go to Petronas Towers to have their photo taken. So cheesy hehe πŸ˜›

This John Lloyd Cruz-Bea Alonzo movie is to blame!

And yeah, I want to have a photo taken there too! If i am not mistaken, the Petronas  is still considered as the tallest twin towers in the world up to this day. I am still undecided whether to push through with the original plan to gallivant inside the building or just wait for my special someone outside LOL. I kid. πŸ˜› πŸ˜› πŸ˜›

I am still unsure about my plans because the plan is not to plan at all!!! Anyway, my friend is there to serve as my tour guide and companion for this trip. I’ll be exploring Kuala Lumpur for two days only because when I booked the trip, I assumed that I already have a job by then. Fortunately though, i still have some freelance gigs. Unfortunately for my budget, the rebooking fee is quite expensive. I want to stay longer so i can also visit Penang and Langkawi. That can wait. Hoping for more promo fares so I can afford to at least spend a week in Malaysia next time πŸ™‚

So there. Any suggestions on where I should go? Have you been to Kuala Lumpur? Share your experiences! For now, I am sharing this lovely music video from the movie which inspired me to book this flight LOL. Where’s my leading man anyway? =))

  3. Kuala Lumpur is great! If you get a chance I would recommend checking out Jalan Petaling for the night market and wandering over to Little India for some nice curry πŸ™‚
